The Sopranos (Los Soprano): The Sopranos is an American television drama series originally broadcast on the HBO network. The show revolves around New Jersey mafia boss Tony Soprano and the difficulties he faces as he tries to balance the often conflicting requirements of his home life and the criminal organization he heads. The series aired on HBO from 1999 to 2007, spanning six seasons and 86 episodes. The show has also aired internationally. It has been called "perhaps the greatest pop-culture masterpiece of its day" by Vanity Fair. The show has been credited for bringing a greater level of artistry to the television medium and paving the way for many successful drama series that followed. After all, what show, before or since, put an entire industry on notice and said in effect: “Pursue moral ambiguity. 24: 24 is an Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning American television series, broadcast by Fox Network in the USA and syndicated worldwide. The show first aired in November 2001 with an initial thirteen episodes. 24 is presented in “real-time”, with each season depicting a 24-hour period in the life of Jack Bauer, who works with the fictional U.S. Government Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) of Los Angeles as it fights threats on her soil. The show also follows the actions of other CTU agents, government officials and terrorists associated with the plot. After leading actor Kiefer Sutherland won a Golden Globe for his role in the first 10 episodes, the ratings of the show increased, leading FOX to order the second half of the season. There have been six seasons of 24 produced. In May 2007, it was confirmed that FOX has ordered seventh and eighth seasons – with the seventh planned to begin airing in early 2008. A motion picture based on the show has been written, and was scheduled to be filmed in 2007 for a 2008 release, but plans for production were put on hold to focus on the TV series. It is one of the most successful series aired by FOX and is considered a cult series in Europe.

Solo necesita un ordenador conectado a Internet y un micrófono o unos auriculares con micro. El software es fácil de usar y proporciona un entorno óptimo de aprendizaje virtual.

¿En qué se centran las llamadas?

Prácticas de Conversación (20 minutos): Conversación dirigida para perfeccionar las destrezas de expresión y comprensión oral así como las más generales. Ideal para perfeccionar sus habilidades comunicativas en inglés tanto para la comunicación profesional como para conversaciones informales.

Después de cada sesión, el profesor dedicará 10 minutos para comentarios o sugerencias que enviará al propio alumno. Estos comentarios acompañados por material y consejos para la próxima llamada son de vital importancia para que cada alumno saque el máximo provecho de las clases telefónicas.
